China's leading venture capital research agency China Venture on Monday announced that it had established a high-ranking advisory board to facilitate its overseas expansion plan.

The first batch of its advisory committee includes Safa Rashtchy, former Managing Director at Piper Jaffray, and Li Zibin, former mayor of Shenzhen.

The committee members will offer assistance and guidance to the implementation of China Venture's global development strategies.

With China rising to be a powerhouse of the world economy, more and more seasoned overseas investors are listing investments in China as their core strategies, the company said.

The company said it hoped its global development plan would help its overseas clients obtain full insight into the Chinese investment market and offer them a myriad of top-notch consulting and researching services.
