Guangxi gains 13.5% GDP growth in first half of the year

In the first half of 2009, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's gross domestic product (GDP) reached 322.575 billion RMB with an annual increase of 13.5%, according to statistics released by the Guangxi Bureau of Statistics and the National Bureau of Statistics.

The official statistics also showed that Guangxi's fixed-asset investments surged 57.7% year on year to 250.908 billion RMB.
