The 4th International Coal and Energy Industry Exposition will be held in Xisha Airport in Yulin, Shaanxi Province, from September 1 to 3. Over 400 enterprises have booked booths covering an area of 40,000㎡, the largest scale of its kind in the expo’s history, according to Jiang Guozhang, vice mayor of Yulin city.

The upcoming expo, a new international platform for cooperation and exchanges in the coal and energy sector, will be an important window for displaying Yulin city and China.

Art performances, a high-profile summit on coal and energy technology development, and talks on investment and trade are all scheduled for the three-days.

Other events such as a forum of private enterprises development and the introduction of investment and trade projects are also some of the expo’s highlights. Yulin will be selecting its most influential private enterprises during the expo as well.

Yulin has earned the nickname “the Kuwait of China” for its rich energy resources. One third of the total energy resources in China come from the city, which has mineral reserves valued at 46 trillion yuan.

The expo has become an annual major event in Yulin, providing a platform for leading enterprises to display their achievements and technology, exchange ideas, seek cooperation and pursue mutual development.
