XI'AN - The Huizhou Product (Xi'an) Fair will be held at the Xi'an Qujiang International Exhibition and Convention Center in this capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

Sponsored by the Huizhou municipal government in South China's Guangdong province, the fair will showcase more than 120,000 products.

These include electronic products, chemical industrial products for daily use, machinery, clothes, shoes, caps, boxes, bags, foods, medicine, furniture and lighting equipment for residences, and toys.

With an exhibition area of about 10,000 square meters, the fair will showcase some of the most advanced products in the world, such as the world's first commercial 3D relief television set made by TCL, said Li Xuanming, vice mayor of Huizhou.

To attract more visitors to the fair, most enterprises will offer discounts at the fair.

For example, TCL will give a discount of 10 to 15 percent, while the Leishi Lighting Co will give a discount of 25 to 30 percent, Li said.

Xi'an is an important financial, commercial and trade center in western China. By holding the fair in the city, Huizhou hopes to gain a bigger market share in northwestern China, he said.
