West China equipment manufacturing expo held in Chengdu

The 11th China West International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (CWIEME) is being held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, from August 5 to 7.

Hosted by China Federation of Machinery Industry and Chengdu Municipal People's Government, the exposition has drawn more than 700 exhibitors from the United States, England, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, Singapore, Japan and China.

The total exhibition area reached 40,000 square meters. On display are achining equipment, industrial automation, mechanical and fluid power transmission, auto parts and manufacturing technology and equipment, casting forging and industrial furnaces.

CWIEME, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, is held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province in spring and in Chengdu in the fall.

CWIEME has been held for successive years since 2003, and it has the honorary titles such as Best Exhibition of Xi'an, Top 10 Exhibitions of China and the First Industrial Exposition in West China.
