SLOT Project hails first personal work

A meeting was held Sunday in Xi'an for the publication of the English version of Zhang Wanzhun's Hong De Ji (Hongde Selection), the first personal work of the Shaanxi Literature Overseas Translation (SLOT) Project.

The project is carried out by two means, said Lei Tao, executive vice chairman of the Shaanxi Writers Association (SWA). One is to promote Shaanxi's literary works by SWA and Shaanxi Translation Association, the other is by individuals, he explained, and the publication of Hong De Ji is a successful model of the second means.

He also hopes more internationally influential works will come out of Shaanxi.
