Official website of Western China International Fair launched

CHENGDU: The bilingual official website of Western China International Fair (WCIF), www.westernchinafair.org, was formally launched in this capital city of Sichuan province on Thursday morning.

In the launching ceremony, the Sichuan Expo Affairs Bureau and China International Electronic Commerce Center under the Ministry of Commerce signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly create the "WCIF which will never end" because it will appears in the website forever.

This is the 10th year for the implementation of the western development strategy in China, said vice minister of commerce Jiang Yaoping in the launching ceremony.

WCIF is an important platform for trade cooperation, investment promotion and diplomatic platform of the State in western China as well as an important window of opening and cooperation for western China, he said.
