SHANGHAI - QQ.com launched a co-operation project with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination on Nov 15 to continue its online Expo service.

QQ.com made a commitment to the bureau at the start of its co-operation with it that the World Expo 2010 will never lower the curtain, Liu said.
He said the company will keep its online Expo channel and columns and compile some of splendid Expo stories into books.
Statistics show QQ.com had 5 billion surfers during the 184-day Expo with its users exceeding 600 million.
Xie Yuefeng, general manager of QQ.com Expo Project, said during the Expo, QQ.com operated www.expo2010.cn and set up the 2020.qq.com channel and my2010.qq.com, the world's largest World Expo online community.
These network platforms provided an online trip to the World Expo for more than 80 million surfers, said Xie.
The website issued 100,000 pieces of Expo news and 250,000 photos during the World Expo. More than 65 million surfers took part in the online Expo volunteer activity, the general manager said.
