Association introduces 10,000 talented personnel

The 2010 Joint Conference of Chengdu Software Talent Training Alliance was held in the Chengdu High-tech Zone in Sichuan Province on Thursday, drawing over 150 representatives from the administrative committee of the Chengdu High-tech Zone, institutions of higher learning from Sichuan and other parts of the country and enterprises.

Since 2005, Chengdu has given priority to the development of the software industry and the sector has witnessed rapid development.

As of the end of last month, the Chengdu High-tech Zone had gathered world-famous enterprises such as the IBM, Cisco, Nokia, Siemens, Motorola, Amazon, Maersk, Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei and ZTE. Eleven of the world’s top 20 enterprises in the software industry had landed in the zone.
