Visitors to the Tianfu Software Park in the Chengdu Hi-tech Zone in the capital of Southwest China's Sichuan Province are impressed by a new exhibition demonstrating the achievements of the zone in the past two decades.

Covering about 3,000 square meters, the exhibition gives a detailed information to the zone's industrial development, investment environment, social development, software industry, and technology innovation.

Set up in 1988, the zone was approved by the State Council to be one of the first national high-tech zones in China three years later.

After 20 years of development ever since, the zone has become an important window for Sichuan's opening-up.
