WUHU -- The Crowne Plaza Wuhu, located in the 2nd Business District of central Wuhu, Anhui province, held a ceremony on March 12 to mark the official launch of the title of National Five-Star Hotel for it, which thus becomes the first such hotel in the famous city in eastern China.

During the ceremony held at the Banquet Hall of the hotel’s sixth floor, government representatives, magnates of the business circle as well as journalists gathered to congratulate the new national title for Crowne Plaza Wuhu. Earlier, the hotel passed the check of the National Assessment Committee of Star-Rated Hotels on Dec 3 2010, and won the title of the “National Five-Star Hotel.”

It is well believed that the new honor for Crowne Plaza Wuhu will help the city in elevating the bar for service in the hotel industry, improving the investment environment for outside investors and creating an ever-more attractive and open-up image.
