Regal Master awarded Best Green Hotel in China

CHENGDU - Regal Master Hotel Chengdu has once again received a Best Hotel award at the Asia Hotel Forum on March 18, 2011.

The 6th China Hotel Starlight Awards was held in Shenzhen, where the Chengdu hotel was awarded Best Green Hotel in China by the judging committee. This is the second time that the Regal Master has received the Starlight Award since its opening in 2010. At last year’s forum, the hotel was awarded Best Designed Boutique Hotel in China.

David Meng, deputy manager of Regal Master Hotel Chengdu, took part in this year’s awards presentation ceremony and received the award on behalf of the hotel management team.

Competition for the nomination was fierce, with many famous hotels competing for the awards. Regal Master Hotel is the newest international five-star hotel in Chengdu and is very popular, partly due to its modern design.

The hotel's management advocates green policies such as rationing the use of energy as well as economizing and protecting resources. After an extensive examination and screening process by the judging committee, as well as an online vote, Regal Master Hotel Chengdu was awarded the coveted prize.
