Yunnan holds Pu'er tea Expo

The sixth Yunnan International Pu’er tea Expo kicked off in Kunming on April 22, 2011, attracting more than 200 enterprises home and abroad.

Under the theme of “Sharing healthy Pu’er tea with the world,” the fair aims to promote the tea trade and culture, with the display of tea sets and packaging. It also marked the first time that an investment group from Taiwan took part in the fair.

As one of the country's tea production bases, Yunnan produced about 200,000 tons of tea in 2010, ranking the second in China.
