Chengdu art exhibit to help Sichuan students

The Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of Li Guangcheng opened at the Sichuan Museum of Chengdu on April 28.

The exhibit will last eight days, with about 80 pieces of calligraphy works, which include some 10-meter-long volumes as well as shorter ones. The theme of these works is mainly the great changes in Chengdu after the Opening Reform policy.

Zhong Lian Guo Xing, a calligraphy and painting exhibit of Li Guangcheng’s works, was shown in a series of public benefit activities such as 5.12 Wenchuan Temblor, Singapore Love Exhibition and For the Pillar-Beijing Macao Exhibition. The exhibition in Chengdu is being held to support impoverished students in Sichuan.

Besides Li Guangcheng, the works of about 20 other local artists are also part of the exhibit.
