China Boats Expo held in Qingdao

The 9th China Boats Expo was held in Qingdao from May 27 and 29 at the Olympic Sailing Center, attracting a total of 137 companies from more than 20 countries.

Covering an area of more than 17,000 square meters, the exhibition gained a turnover of 16 million yuan ($2.5 billion) during the three-day event, setting a record for the sessions. More than 100 famous yachts and 300 pieces of sailing equipment were on display at the fair.

As one of the six top exhibitions in China this year, the boats expo has attracted many top liners and yacht companies from around the world.

Local residents were also invited to experience the fun of sailing during the expo to win more popularity for the sport of sailing in Qingdao, the sailing city of China.
