The 7th China Headquarter Economy Forum will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan province，from July 29 to 30.

Launched by the Beijing Social Science Academy, the forum studies how the theory of the headquarter economy will promote urban industrial upgrading and sustainable development.

The forum to be held in Chengdu will be the first one ever held in a western Chinese city.

Chengdu is the hub of the western region and has a great potential to develop the headquarter economy, said Zhao Hong, the initiator of the headquarter economy concept.
