Dalian will ensure a breakthrough of 80 billion yuan ($12.72 billion) in local tax revenue this year, according to a municipal tax working conference held on Tuesday.

Cao Aihua, deputy mayor of Dalian, said at the conference that the local tax administration should concentrate efforts on related services and make full use of the preferential taxation policies to help the enterprises.

Local tax revenue kept the momentum of steady growth by reaching 68.5 billion yuan last year, up 29 percent year on year.
