Shaanxi 'Women's Home' was set up by Wanmei Company Shaanxi Branch on Feb 24.

The establishment of Wanmei Company Shaanxi Branch 'Women's Home' adds a new grass-roots organization to Shaanxi Women's Federation.

Shaanxi Women's Federation has always promoted the construction of 'Women's Home' in the province, carrying out demonstration activities for 'Women's Home', improving the service quality and service levels of 'Women's Home,' and playing the role of 'Women's Home' in advocacy services, publicity and education and other aspects.

Shaanxi Women's Federation implemented the 'Women's Home' project with the money from the livelihood projects of women and children, with investment from Shaanxi Provincial Government.

Liu Lige, chief of Shaanxi Women's Federation, encouraged women to ask 'Women's Home' for help whenever they meet difficulties. Liu said that they would try their best to construct 'Women's Home' and help more women. She also hoped that women could take part in the activities and get help.

Shaanxi Women's Federation will explore establishing 'Women's Home' in social organizations, private enterprises, professional marketing, commercial buildings, specialized cooperatives (associations), and gathering places for women migrant workers.

Wanmei Company Shaanxi Branch moved closer to women's organizations and established 'Women's Home'.

Wanmei Co Ltd is an overseas enterprise in China invested by Malaysia. Over the years, the company served the community well, and donated a number of social welfare undertakings.
