HEFEI--A more convenient lifestyle, namely the "15-Minute Life Circle", has benefited citizens in Hefei, provincial capital of East China's Anhui province.

The city now offers citizens all kinds of services no more than 15 minutes away. The services include education, medical care, shopping and entertainment, according to an official from the Political and Legislative Affairs of CPC Hefei Municipal Committee.

“Much attention should be paid to the construction of a harmonious society, which puts emphasis on improving people’s livelihoods,” said Wu Cunrong, a member of the Standing Committee of CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and secretary of CPC Hefei Municipal Committee.

He stressed that creating the "15-Minute Life Circle" is crucial in promoting innovative measures in social management, improving people's lives and building a more harmonious society.

In order to satisfy people's demands for a better life, the city is making progress in housing demolition and relocation.

In 2012, the city will continue construction of comprehensive community services in both urban and rural areas.
