The Opening ceremony of the 15th Suzhou Tourism Festival will be held at the Jinji Lake Scenic Area. The ceremony features boat parade, performances, lights and a firework show.

With a combination of local fashion and international elements, the ceremony will demonstrate Suzhou，“the Oriental Water City”， as a tourism destination with a classic romance and modern vitality.

The main performance stage is set in the “Garden of Wind Square” southwest of the Jinji Lake. Several smaller stages are scattered at the scenic spots around Jinji Lake such as City Square, Lakeshore Boulevard, and Moonlight Dock.

The Jinji Lake scenic area is the only national-level business travel pilot zone in China. The picturesque scenery and cultural landscape around the lake compliment the boat parade and impress tourists with its beautiful features.
