Disaster reduction and public security forum held in Chengdu

The Fourth Shanghai-Dujiangyan International Disaster Reduction & Public Security Forum 2012 attracted experts from professional organizations, universities and research institutes, as well as government officials in relevant departments.
The participants delivered lectures and exchanged ideas on issues of emergency management, natural disaster prediction and forecasting, and the latest use of technology in disaster control.
The International Disaster Reduction & Public Security Forum, as part of the Shanghai International Disaster Reduction and Security Exhibition, is held annually in Shanghai and Dujiangyan in turns.
