The Harbin-Dalian High-speed Railway, the world's fastest railway in frigid regions, started its summer schedule as of April 21, with the speed during the summer period (usually from April to November) lifted to 300 kilometers per hour from 200 in the winter period, cutting the shortest running time between Harbin and Dalian from five hours and 18 miniutes to three and half hours.
