Guiyang in Guizhou province will build a multilingual tourism signage system in 4A scenic spots in 2013. The signs will include Guiyang Qianlingshan Park, Tianhe Lake, Hongfeng Lake, Nanjiang Grand Canyon, Baoli International Hot Spring and Guiyang Animal Park and will display three languages: Chinese, English and Korean.
Guiyang strives to enhance tourism exchanges and cooperation with Europe, the United States, Japan and South Korea using a series of methods. In the first quarter of this year, Guiyang received 23,000 foreign visitors and saw revenues of $8.25 million.
