The China XD Group, one of the country’s top electrical machinery manufacturers, has managed to enter major Indian and Pakistani markets with its top products, China Daily has learned, on Friday, July 26.
XD, formerly the Xi’an Electrical Machinery Manufacturing Co, was established in 1959, in Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province. By the end of this June, it had produced 18 of its 750 kV reactors for India’s State Grid, with all of the equipments meeting IEC standards.
India’s Reliance Co bought 10 of the 750 kV reactors in 2012, which was the first time for these XD products to enter the Indian market. It also produced seven of its 500 kV, 2000,000 KVA single-phase auto transformers for Pakistan’s State Grid.
