About 100,000 visitors attend Chengdu animation and game fair

The second Chengdu ACG fair (CAF) was held in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan province, from August 2 to 4.

The fair is the largest such event in southwest China, and it attracted over 400 well-known animation, cartoon and game makers and about 100,000 visitors.

ACG refers to anime, comics and games, and the annual event serves as a platform for the exchange and display of original anime works and games, cosplay competitions, anime music performances and E-sport experience.

The animation and game industry of Chengdu has developed rapidly in recent years. The Chengdu high-tech zone, one of the most important animation and game bases in China, includes almost 200 animation and game enterprises and 20,000 practitioners
