International science expo opens in Xi’an

The eighth China Xi'an international science and technology industry expo kicked off on Friday in Xi'an, capital of Northwest Shaanxi province, to promote technological innovation and health development of industry.

Sponsored by the city government, the 3-day expo aims to speed up the development of the city’s scientific and technological resources demonstration base, further promote industrial restructuring and build a display and trading platform for domestic and overseas high technologies, new research achievements and new products.

More than 500 enterprises from home and abroad took part in the expo to display their products and search for partners.
