CNEA Expo puts Northeast China's achievements in the public eye

The 9th China-Northeast Asia Exposition(CNEA Expo), set to open in Changchun, Jilin province, on Sept 6, comes with the 10th anniversary of China's strategy to revive its old industrial bases of the Northeast, with a special hall for displaying the successes of those 10 years of development and revitalization of the Northeast.

Liu Fei, deputy secretary-general of the Jilin provincial government, explained at a press conference, on Sept 5, that the expo will have and 2,600 booths and eight pavilions, the top one of which is for the Northeast's old industrial revitalization. It's mainly there to show the success in recent years and to explore the region's possibilities in the future. The CNEA Expo also has special display halls for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Northeast Asian countries.

There will also be 38 conferences and activities such as the 7th Summit Forum on Northeast Asia Cooperation, the 2013 China International Metropolis Cooperation Forum, and the Service Trade Conference.
