The website for the 2014 Tianjin Summer Davos Forum was officially launched on Dec 20. The website has Chinese and English versions.
The cover design highlights Tianjin’s Haihe culture and demonstrates a fresh style. Guided by the idea of building a beautiful Tianjin, the website demonstrates Tianjin’s changes, achievements and highlights in economy, society, culture and ecology.
The website has sections for Preparation Work, Media Focus, Exclusive Interviews, Beautiful Tianjin, Experiencing Tianjin, Tianjin and Davos, and Davos Database. With preparations for the forum moving along, the website will add new feature columns such as, “Davos is coming”,“Dialogue with New Leaders”, and “Davos Special Column”.
The website will also develop a new app for iPads and 4G, and connect to the “Experiencing Tianjin” app. At the same time, the columns will be promoted through the official WeChat platform and the official micro-blog of “Exploring Tianjin” before the forum. During the forum, the website will serve as a leading media center.
It will provide a live broadcast of the forum through videos, photographs and texts, and invite experts, politicians, scholars and forum guests to the studio at the conference site.
