The Guiyang Hi-Tech Industrial Development Area has welcomed significant development opportunities in recent years. With the establishment of Zhongguancun Guiyang Science and Technology Park, the Guiyang Hi-Tech Industrial Development Area (GHIDA) strives to build a core area and demonstration area for Zhongguancun Guiyang, making full use of the area for its motivational force, talent, scientific development and creativity.
The GHIDA achieved great success in 2013, with gross revenue growing year-on-year and total industrial output value exceeding 40 percent. Up to 60 percent of enterprises in the area have been recognized as national software enterprises, and 36.4 percent have been recognized as national high-tech enterprises.

The area has also become a hub, serving 90 percent of Guizhou's private equity institutions and 50 percent of its technical financing institutions.
Thanks to its hi-tech and innovation-driven strategy, the GHIDA also boasts 90 research institutions (including engineering research centers and enterprise technology centers), nine academician workstations and 13 enterprise incubators.
As a gathering place for all kinds of resources, the GHIDA has become the most dynamic and powerful area for business development and technical innovation in Guizhou.
