The 10th ICIF will incorporate more professional exhibitors in the sector of press and publication, broadcasting, film, and culture and art service, which is central to the cultural industry.
The ICIF intends to offer a full view of the essential elements in China's cultural industry, namely innovative design, press and publication, animation and film, intangible cultural heritage, calligraphy and painting, cultural tourism, arts and crafts.
The main exhibition venue will host more than 60 events, including cultural industry investment promotion, seminars on the culture and innovative design industry's fusion with related industries, international cultural trade exchange, cultural procurement meetings and auctions.
The number of exhibitors in the main exhibition venue at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center will reach 2,263, 145 more than last year. Organizations from 31 provinces and regions across China will participate in the ICIF, and 17,696 overseas buyers from 95 countries and regions will attend. The overseas exhibition area will account for 15 percent of the total exhibition area. Sixteen international exhibitors have established strategic cooperation with the ICIF, including business councils from the US, Britain, the Netherlands, Brazil and Chile.
