Lucky Air opened a branch in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, on June 29.
The company said it would open more fights from Chengdu to cities in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces and other parts of China as it plans to build a network across the country.
Lucky Air is the second-largest airline based in Kunming, Yunnan and an affiliate of Hainan Airlines. Currently, it has a fleet of 26 aircraft and operates more than 50 domestic flights and one international flight.
