First Network Information Security Seminar to be held

According to the investment promotion department of the organizing committee of the CAEXPO and CABIS, the first Network Information Security Seminar & OWASP 2014 China Summit will be held at the 11th China-ASEAN Expo.

The seminar is sponsored by the Guangxi Network Information Security Institute and co-organized by OWASP China and the Education and Examination Centre of the Ministry of Industry and Informatization. Current web application security issues will be discussed at the seminar.

About 1,000 people will attend the seminar, covering government and industries such as finance, banking, securities, education, operators, Internet and electrical power. The organizers said that top application security experts at home and abroad will be invited to discuss technology, especially comprehensive and cutting-edge application security technology, at the seminar.

In addition, the OWASP China Summit, as one of the activities held by International Application Organization in China, will build a professional platform for renowned domestic and foreign manufacturers and Chinese enterprises during the CAEXPO. The summit has been successfully held four times in recent years and has attracted about 3,000 visits from experts and staff in the security industry.

According to the organizers, the domestic and foreign network information security products and solutions will be presented at the seminar, covering WEB security, database security, wireless network security and mobile communication security. Exhibitors include Huawei, Webray, UFIDA and other world-renowned brands.
