CAEXPO Promotion Conference on ASEAN Industrial Parks

The CAEXPO Promotion Conference on ASEAN Industrial Parks, sponsored by the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, was held on the afternoon of September 16.

Taking "Promotion of ASEAN Cross-Border Economic Cooperation Zones and Industrial Parks Inviting Investment Projects" as the theme and focusing on the utilization of investment and trade facilitation policies for the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area, this year's promotion conference will not only promote investment cooperation between ASEAN countries, but also cooperation between ASEAN countries and cross-border industrial parks jointly established with China.

It is the consensus of all the conference representatives that the cooperation platform of China and ASEAN industrial parks will certainly enhance the in-depth development of China-ASEAN bilateral trade and investment partnerships, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and benefit all peoples in these countries.

Yang Yihang, deputy director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce; Huang Yuan, deputy secretary-general of the China-ASEAN Expo secretariat; Zhang Yanan, deputy director of the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park management committee; Chu Yang, deputy director of the management committee of the Guangxi Dongxing National Key Development and Opening Test Area; and other representatives from key industrial parks of ASEAN countries addressed the conference by introducing the development situation, investment information, laws and regulations, and preferential policies.

During the CAEXPO, this promotion conference will further enhance exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN investment institutions, as well as their industrial parks. It will expand two-way investment scale and cooperation fields, deepen bilateral investment cooperation and make it more effective in promoting investment.
