Zhang Liang, inspector of CCPIT, highlighted the importance of the World Expo as a platform for international cooperation and exchanges in business, technology and culture, as well as a window for China’s image branding. He said "We choose enterprises with high quality products and strong brand influence as our partners in a bid to let the world witness the charm of modern China. Paper is an indispensible material at the expo. The company’s strategy of sustainable growth fits in well with the green commitment of expo events and we believe the global network of APP Group will provide a timely supply of needed items at the expo.

Zhang's words were echoed by Ms Zhai Jingli, vice president of APP-China, who represents a group that has planted about 300,000 hectares of trees in China.

"It’s a great honor for us being able to partner with the China Pavilion of Expo 2015 Milan. As a sustainable practitioner in the paper industry, APP-China will showcase the leading environmental protection technologies as well as promote a low-carbon lifestyle during the event.”

As the sole brand of paper for China Pavilion, APP-China covers the paper demands of office and daily life, including brochures, handbags, and tissues. It is launching a promotion campaign to show off the thousands-of-years-long history of paper manufacturing in China.

Themed "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", Expo Milan 2015 is dedicated to nutrition, food security and sustainable development during the May 1-to-Oct 31 event.

As the biggest single foreign investor at the expo, the China Pavilion covers an area of 4,590 square meters with one national pavilion and two corporate pavilions under the theme "Field of hope, source of life".
