Expos on power transmission and compressed air technologies to be held in Shanghai

A press conference for a power transmission and compressed air technologies expos was held in Beijing on Oct 14.

Jointly organized by the China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association, China General Machine Components Industry Association, Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai, PTC ASIA will focus on power transmission, while ComVac ASIA is co-sponsored by Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd, compressor.cn and the COMPRESSOR magazine and will showcase compressed air technologies.

Both events will be held concurrently at Shanghai New International Expo Center on Oct 27-30, 2014.

With a display area of 85,500 square meters, PTC ASIA will attract 1,350 notable exhibitors in the fields of gears, electrical power transmission, belt transmission, couplings, chain transmission, fasteners, springs, bearings, pneumatics, sealing technology and hydraulics. ComVac ASIA will cover a display area of 13,500 square meters this year and draw in a total of 170 exhibitors from China and abroad.

In response to China’s special action plan to strengthen basic manufacturing industries, PTC ASIA 2014 will propose practical solutions to the current problems in China’s basic manufacturing industries, according to the organizers.

As one of the major sections of PTC ASIA, the hydraulics, pneumatics and sealing area of the fluid power sector will gather several hundreds of well-known enterprises, such as NOK, Argo Hytos, UTEC, ASTON, Balluff, Stauff and Keda. They will display their automatic and intelligent products as well as innovative technologies, said the organizers.

Delegations from Germany, Italy, the UK, France, the US, Turkey, India, Japan, the ROK and Taiwan will set up pavilions with a total exhibition area of 5,000 square meters.

Well-known enterprises from Sweden, Germany, Italy, the US, Canada, South Korea and China, including Ingersoll Rand, Hitachi, Sotras, Bosch Rexroth and Hanbell will join ComVac ASIA this year. The exhibits cover the entire supply chain of the compressor and vacuum industry, ranging from complete equipment, main equipment, post-processing, spare parts and lubricants.

In addition, a wide range of forums and conferences will be held alongside the two exhibitions, where experts, senior officials and buyers will speak and discuss the trends and development of automation and intelligent technology in the fields of power transmission and air compressors.

Meanwhile nearly a hundred buyer groups will come to the exhibitions to negotiate purchase contracts.
