Tong Daochi delivers a speech at China Hi-Tech Forum

Tong Daochi, assistant director-general of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, gives a speech at the China Hi-Tech Forum on Nov 16.

On behalf of China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, I would like to extend my greatest welcome to all guests, visitors and friends from China and overseas.

China High-tech Fair has been successfully held since 1999. For the past fifteen years, CHTF adheres to the principle of “service and innovation”, attracting more and more global and professional exhibitors. The Fair has become a feast for displaying high-tech products and exchanges between companies. It has made great contributions to China’s economic restructuring.

The importance of technological innovation has been strengthened and defined as a national policy. The Chinese government will strive to build a legal and international business environment, bringing out the full vigor of market players and speeding up the upgrading and restructuring of China’s economy.

With the theme of “Innovation and Green Growth”, the 16th China High-Tech Fair will display the latest innovations of China, serving as a platform for Chinese and overseas companies to exchange ideas.
