German testing and certification leader TUV SUD expanded and upgraded its test center in Shenzhen to meet the growing demands of exporters in South China's Guangdong province.

The company relocated and expanded its Shenzhen testing center from 4,000 square meters to 10,000 square meters and upgraded it with the latest instruments and technologies, said Ashley Chan, general manager of TUV SUD's Shenzhen branch.

The expanded center is equipped with four labs that deal with electrical and electronic testing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), toys and chemicals. The center can conduct tests for electric and machinery products, footwear, textiles, toys and children's products and pharmaceutical instruments, which are traditionally areas of strength for Guangdong's manufacturing industry, Chan said.

With leading-edge technologies and experienced staff, TUV SUD can offer a full range of services to meet demands of various manufacturers in the world.
