President of USSPA visits Nanyang for cooperation opportunities

Norman L. Li, president of the US State & Ports Association (USSPA) and managing director of the State of Illinois Far East Office, recently visited Nanyang, Central China’s Henan province, to seek business opportunities in importing and exporting agricultural products and establishing Nanyang as a sister city for American cities.

Accompanied by He Xuemin, vice-mayor of Nanyang, Li inspected local colleges and food processing companies. He also talked with officials in agriculture, commercial and foreign affair business departments.

Li said that the city of Nanyang impressed him a lot, and he looks forward to extend more cooperation with businesses to realize win-win situations for both sides at the end of the inspection tour.
