Austrian auto parts maker starts operations in Nantong

Hirschmann Automotive Technology (Nantong) Co has started test productions in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, Jiangsu province, on March 9, zgnt.net reported.

The company is the first subsidiary set up by Austria's Hirshmann Automotive Group, a well-known auto parts supplier in China. With a total investment of 37.5 million euros, the company completed construction of its plant in late 2014. It will be engaged in the production and sales of high-end automobile transmission systems, wiring harnesses and sensors, whose clients include Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi.
