Dunhuang Airport implements new summer flight schedules

Dunhuang Airport, in Northwest China's Gansu province started to carry out new flight schedules for the summer and autumn season on March 29.
During the summer and autumn season, the airport is expected to run 11 air routes linking 14 cities, including Wuhan, Yinchuan, Changsha and Hangzhou.
China Southern airlines' Xi'an-Dunhuang-Urumqi route has been reinstated on March 29 and will fly once a day.
The Lanzhou- Dunhuang flight, managed by China Eastern Airlines, has adjusted its timetable to depart from Dunhuang at 10:25am and arrive in Lanzhou at 12:00am. The return flight will depart from Lanzhou at 08:00am and arrive in Dunhuang at 09:45pm, with a flight time of one hour and 35 minutes.

Several flights will promote pre-sale tickets during their schedule transition period. For example, a one-way ticket from Lanzhou- Dunhuang costs only 199 yuan ($32.12); cheaper than some train tickets. Passengers can also get 10-30 percent discount on flights at Dunhuang Airport untill June.
Dunhuang Airport is located in Gansu province's Dunhuang city, a renowned tourist city with many scenic spots such as the Mogao Grottoes, Echoing-Sand Mountain (Mingsha Shan in Chinese) and Crescent Spring.
