Hong Kong Express Airways (HK Express), the first and only low-cost airline in Sunan Shuofang International Airport that serves the Wuxi route from Hong Kong, announced a special promotion campaign for its flights to Wuxi during the summer.

According to the announcement made at a press conference in Wuxi on June 4, travelers can enjoy special low prices starting from 88 yuan ($14.19) for one-way tickets to Hong Kong if they buy their tickets between June 4 and 8, but only to fly between July 10 and Oct 25. Flights depart on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Speaking at the press conference, Jimmy Ma, Executive Chairman and President of HK Express, said that the flights between Wuxi and Hong Kong have great significance for HK Express, as Wuxi is one of its key destinations in the Chinese mainland. The route has provided a new travel choice for people in South Jiangsu and even in the Yangtze River Delta, he pointed out.

Ma announced that HK Express will add more destinations to its flight portfolio in the future and continue to expand its footprint in Asia.

The flights between Wuxi and Hong Kong have begun to serve Wuxi and South Jiangsu residents from April 10 and proved to be popular among passengers.

Having launched its first flight in October 2013, HK Express has been committed to providing more flights in top cities around Asia for travel enthusiasts. At present, the airline flies to 20 destinations from Hong Kong, including Kunming, Ningbo and Wuxi.
