Baiyin signs 4.03b yuan investment agreements

Baiyin ciy in Northwest China's Gansu province inked four projects worth 4.03 billion yuan ($650 million) at a signing ceremony at the Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair on July 7.
The four projects ranged from those in the processing industry to the tourism industry. They included an aviation industry base, which will receive investment from Gansu Ruilan General Airline; a wind turbine project, funded by Hengjian Energy and Environmental Protection Group Co; tourism development projects involving Yongtai ancient city, Shoulu Mountain Nature Reserve; and dairy products processing projects laid out by Gansu Tianfang Dairy Limited Co.
The 21st Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair kicked off on July 6 in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province. Representatives from fourteen cities in Gansu took part in the fair. The annual fair serves as a great platform for Gansu traders to attract investments and explore the market, according to participants.
