Huangqiao sesame cake

Huangqiao sesame cake was named after the Battle of Huangqiao in 1946, one of seven major battles in Central Jiangsu Campaign. However, it is now totally different from what it was like 70 years ago.
Today, the fillings of the sesame cake include dried meat floss, ham, small shrimps, diced chicken, sausages and scallion oil. After baking, the cake has a golden color as well as crunchiness and crispness.
