The 21st Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair played host to colorful exhibitions from a variety of ethnic groups in Gansu province from July 6 to 11.
Visitors poured through the exhibition hall of the Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture on July 7, where people from the Tibetan ethnic group introduced their specialties. Girls dressed in traditional Tibetan attire sang and danced in the exhibition hall and served visitors the well-known Tibetan wine made from highland barley.

A salesman at the booth said that many visitors showed great interest in Tibetan food and inquired of the price of Tibetan lamb chops, yak row and tea.
Gannan is located in the Southwest portion of Gansu province and is one of ten Tibetan autonomous prefectures in China. Tibetan cultural elements enrich the local culture in the region, which is prosperous in animal husbandry and abundant in mineral resources and hydroelectric energy due to its geological composition.
