The promotion event was held in the town's Spring Alpha Resort, whose Publicity Director Ni Lijuan said that the resort is not only a peaceful retreat for tourists to spend their holidays, but it also serves as a tourism center that provides tourism information and car rental services.

Anji is a town with more than 300 types of bamboos, which can be processed into numerous products including food, furniture, clothing and beverages. It is the only county in China that was granted the UN Habitat Scroll of Honor. It has gained prominence and become known worldwide after it featured in the Oscar-winning movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". The film's most attractive scenes were shot in Anji's bamboo forests, which are also a hiker's, biker's and camper's paradise.
