Zhangjiagang autumn tourism festival welcomes visitors

The 2015 Zhangjiagang autumn tourism festival has begun in Zhangjiagang on Sept 19 and it will run through the end of November, said an official.

The officer further mentioned that this year's festival consists of six themed activities including a hot spring and food festival in Feanghuang town, teachers and students touring around the city, a harvest festival in Yonglian village and Xiangshan Mountain cultural festival.

The Fenghuang hot spring and food festival will highlight hot springs, bonfire parties, bamboo dance and tofu banquet.

Zhou Jianjiang, vice director of Zhangjiagang tourism bureau, pointed out, "We aim to combine the city's tourist attractions together to help visitors enjoy traveling better in Zhangjiagang."

Till now, there are three 4A tourist attractions, three 3A tourist attractions and three provincial-level four-star scenic spots in Zhangjiagang including Fenghuang Mountain, Xiangshan Mountain and Jiyang Lake Ecological Park.
