Steel Valley Electronic Commerce Company was founded in May 2015 at the International Trade and Logistics Park in Xi’an, Shaanxi province.
Steel Valley deals with third-party transactions in online steel trading, offering a platform for merchandise purchase, storage, delivery and sales.
The company has established cooperative relationships with many steel plants, banks and transportation enterprises. Its platform provides financial services for its members and has links with over 120 banks and financial institutions.
From July 1 to Oct 27, the platform had approximately 650 registered clients who made transactions for 430,000 tons of steel worth 930 million yuan ($146.22 million).
