Tourist attraction gears up for winter hot spring visitors

Gaoyangshan Hot Spring Resort in Sanmenxia, Henan Province, prepared for visitors during the winter months by planting "more plants than ever before", according to a manager in the scenic spot.
Under the guidance of the local government to increase the green coverage of the city, the resort is sparing no efforts to improve its ecological environment. A variety of trees, such as Chinese ilexes and cypresses, have been planted in tourist areas, covering 80 percent of land in the resort.
The hot spring resort in Sanmenxia has grown in popularity among visitors in recent years. Due to its natural elements, the hot spring is favored by many tourists as an effective way to keep healthy in winter, when respiratory-related illnesses are more prevalent.
