Jiangsu media tour arrives in Shitang village

The national media tour of 2016 Beautiful Jiangsu, Noble Morals paid a visit to Shitang village in Jiangning District, Nanjing on June 22, which is one of the most beautiful countryside settlements in China listed by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

Shitang village has a pleasant mix of ambient scenery and local life. The government has rebuilt homes, improved the streets and lanes, and completed work on infrastructure and public service facilities. During the reconstruction process, the government respected the original structures, protecting and preserving the town’s history and traditions.

Recently the village has been dedicated to implementing the “Internet Plus” strategy as well as developing its e-commerce. It has recently launched a website for tourists to book accommodation and buy local specialties.
