During his tour of the city, Prime Minister Modi visited the Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Park for a private tour of the Terracotta Warriors – relics of China’s first dynasty, the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC). Modi then visited the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Ci’en Temple, the site where Buddhist monk Xuanzang translated scriptures after an epic 17-year journey to India.
